Being responsible dog owners that we are, we got Scooter shoes with leather soles (I swear i would have gotten crocs if they could only made them for dogs) to protect his feet during hot weather. Scooter made his debut in the park the other day and received many compliments and amazed looks (such as "what the hell are you doing to this dog" and "is this for fashion or is it because it is hot" - how about you take a guess lady, it is 100 degrees out there). The result? Our dog is now recognized as fashionista since some time after the shoe debut, some lady came up to us and asked whether ours was the same dog in shoes the other day...The moral of the story? It is not important who you are (i.e. your breed, skin color, etc), but what your accessories are:)
